Printing Small Details with DTF

To achieve the best results when printing fine details using Direct to Film (DTF), follow these important guidelines:

Minimum Size Requirements

• Fine Print Areas: Ensure that the smallest printed details are no smaller than 1 point (0.014"). Anything smaller may not print clearly or at all.
• Show-Through Gaps: Non-printing gaps or transparent areas should be at least 2 points (0.028"). Smaller gaps may unintentionally fill in during printing.

Artwork Size and Upload Instructions

• Save your artwork at the exact size you want it printed. For example, if you're ordering a 12" x 12" sheet but upload a 10" x 10" design, your image will be printed exactly at 10" x 10".
• Leave a margin around the edges of your artwork to prevent cropping or edge-related issues.

Do Not Mirror Your Image

Please submit your artwork exactly as you want it to appear on the garment.

Our production team will automatically mirror (invert) your design to ensure it prints and presses correctly during the DTF transfer process.

You don’t need to flip or reverse your artwork—we’ll handle that for you!
